About the event
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭.
God has been speaking to me a lot lately about 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭. I think about all of my friends that are in different seasons of life. They are either in the middle of raising kiddos, taking care of aging parents, or navigating life with teens! Add to that the responsibilities at home and often work outside of the home plus the desire to live out passions, ministry and the calling in our lives, and many women find themselves tired and overwhelmed.
Maybe that’s why God is speaking to me so often about the importance of 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭 and He is saying that I am not the only one who needs it.
What I have discovered about 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭 is that it doesn't mean getting away from the noise, the busyness, the work or even the to-do list! Rest can be found right in the middle of it all when you learn to live from a heart of rest.
Rest is ultimately found in Jesus.
A soul at peace, no matter what is going on around me, is settled by clinging to Jesus' words.
